A Wainuiomata house has been badly damaged in a fire overnight.
A fire service spokesperson said multiple calls were received of a blaze on Wise Street about 12.15am.
The house was "well involved" in fire on arrival, she said, and the roof of the house collapsed as a result of the fire.
Six trucks were at the scene at the height of the blaze.
No one was injured and fire safety officers will investigate the fire today.
