They rolled into town like the superstars they've been for four decades - surrounded by an entourage the size of a small town, and heading for some of the biggest suites in Auckland.
The Rolling Stones flew into New Zealand last night for concerts in Auckland tonight and Wellington on Tuesday.
Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie jetted in from Melbourne and were whisked to the Langham Hotel. Photographers had been waiting since early morning at the airport but the Stones were on a more leisurely schedule. While the stage was being set at Auckland's Western Springs for tonight's gig, they flew in the afternoon, arriving at 9pm.
