A tuk-tuk has rolled leaving passengers with serious injuries in Wellington.
A police spokeswoman said there were five patients, one with serious injuries, two with moderate injuries and two with minor injuries. Police got the call at 4.05pm to Roseneath Terrace. Ambulances also attended.
A woman, who doesn't want to be named, was walking around Mt Victoria when she came across the "awful scene". She said the five passengers were strewn over the road covered in blood.
The woman sat with one lady who had a large gash in her head and kept asking for her children.
"The woman was dripping blood down her face. She was going into unconsciousness."
