A monstrous 18m rocket which has a US$4.9 million ($6.3 million) price tag will be on display at the Big Boys Toys show in Auckland this week.
The Electron rocket, which is 1m in diameter, was transported by truck from its home base in Mangere to the show's Greenlane ASB Showgrounds location yesterday.
According to its creators Rocket Lab - a company founded by New Zealander Peter Beck in 2007 - the Electron will "deliver small satellites to commercial orbits".
Big Boys Toys runs from Friday until Sunday.
