A rock fall has partially blocking an arterial route in central Auckland.
The rock fall occurred on Tamaki Drive approximately 50 metres on the Mission Bay side of Tamaki Yacht Club shortly before 4pm.
The east bound lane is currently open however the Auckland City bound lane is closed.

He said no one had been injured and no cars had been damaged.
An employee at Fergs Kayaks on Tamaki Drive, Oscar Junior, said traffic flow outside the shop looked normal.
He said he couldn't see any major traffic build up but expected the roads around Mission Bay would be chaotic due to the rock fall.
Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes if possible to avoid congestion.
