Robbery at university

A large police operation was underway at the Albany campus of Massey University on Auckland's North Shore this morning.

It follows a robbery which happened at around 8am.

Early reports said someone was injured, but police later said this was not the case. Two security guards were shaken by the incident, they said.

A substantial amount of money was believed to have been taken.

Two offenders are believed to have been involved.

Witnesses reported seeing a large number of marked and unmarked police cars at the campus.
