The New Zealand Transport Agency is warning Auckland motorists of major road works this weekend before the opening of the Victoria Park Tunnel.
The NZTA are advising motorists to avoid the road works on State Highway 1, just past the Nelson Street off ramp, from November 11-14.
The agency are suggesting several alternative routes for motorists travelling north over these days.
Motorists travelling north from west Auckland are advised to use State Highways 16 and 18 over the weekend.
If travelling north from south Auckland, the NZTA are advising motorists to take the Port exit ramp to Fanshawe Street, and then continue onto State Highways 16 and 18.
