KEY POINTS:
An Accident Compensation Commission and police campaign to prevent driver fatigue begins tomorrow, targeting skiers travelling to the central North Island mountains through Waikato roads.
Police spokesman Andrew McAlley says the campaign will include a series of stops where motorists will be able to pull over, have a cup of tea or coffee and learn about the benefits of power naps.
Mr McAlley says fatigue causes slower reactions and reduced concentration.
