The repair bill for lower North Island roads damaged in February's floods has topped $66 million.
Transfund regional manager Ian Hunter said yesterday that allocated funding included nearly $54 million for local roads and $12.7 million for state highways.
The Wanganui District Council has received $17.51 million, the Manawatu District Council $15.46 million, and the Manawatu-Wanganui region $11.22 million.
