The trial of the man accused of stabbing to death a Stokes Valley father has been aborted on day three of the trial.
The murder trial, which was set down for two weeks in the High Court at Wellington, was aborted this morning when a juror said they knew information about the case.
Shayd Robinson, 20, was on trial for the murder of 27-year-old Aaron Hadfield.
Mr Hadfield was stabbed after an alleged road rage incident as he was returning home from picking up prescription medicine for one of his young children on January 26.
The jury was reduced 11 on day one after Justice Ronald Young excused one of the members.
