Radio New Zealand's current affairs programme, Checkpoint, is off the air tonight as staff stage another strike in support of a better pay deal.
The stoppage, from 4pm to 6pm, is the latest in a series of industrial actions taken by members of the Public Service Association (PSA) and the Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union (EPMU) over the last few weeks.
They are seeking a 5 per cent pay rise and a one week increase to annual leave entitlement.
Radio New Zealand is offering a 3 per cent one year agreement, with no change to annual leave entitlement.
