Shanan Brownfield takes a closer look at a line-up of designer dolls which will be auctioned to raise money for charity group Radio Lollipop.
The 10 porcelain dolls, each 97cm high, are on display at Jerry Clayton BMW in Takapuna as part of the Bella Collectibles exhibition.
The dolls were made by Dunedin doll manufacturer Jan McLean and dressed in clothes by various New Zealand designers.
The dolls will be auctioned at a dinner at Pinot, Orakei, in Auckland on August 9.
In 2005, 12 dolls were sold , raising more than $76,000 for the charity group, said Bella Collectibles exhibition manager Ann Simich.
Radio Lollipop entertains children in hospital and runs a radio station at Starship Children's Hospital.
