About $5000 worth of cannabis has been found after a police raid on a home in Okaihau, Northland.
A man and his two sons, aged in their late teens or early 20s, were arrested after police found 2.3kg of the drug last Friday.
Two rifles were also found at the house, Detective Sergeant Mike Foster said.
All three men were charged with possession of cannabis for supply and are due to appear in Kaikohe District Court tomorrow.
The father was also charged for not having a licence to use a firearm and one of his sons was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.
In another incident, a Far North man was arrested after he was allegedly found to have 210g of cannabis on him.
Kaitaia police Senior Sergeant Gordon Gunn said the man was stopped by police near a Kaitaia bottle store that had just been burgled.
He was found to be carrying the drug but had no involvement in the burglary, Mr Gunn said.
An Ahipara man, 24, was charged with possession of cannabis and was to have appeared in Kaitaia District Court yesterday.
