American actress Lindsay Lohan is the latest star to appear in an Air New Zealand promotional video. The 25-year-old is shown being interviewed by puppet mascot Rico.
In the advert, Rico asks Lohan what she knows about New Zealand. "I've not been but I would love to go. I hear it's beautiful," she tells him. "I know the beaches are beautiful and I have very nice friends from there, so you'll have to invite me some time."
Rico also teases the star, who was convicted of theft after pleading no contest to stealing a necklace from a California store. He presents Lohan with a box holding jewellery and says: "Don't worry, they're all paid for."
Other stars who have appeared include actor David Hasselhoff and rapper Snoop Dogg.
