KEY POINTS:
A woman from a wealthy Auckland family has been given a week to tell relatives of her drugs charges before her name is made public.
The woman, who is in her 20s, appeared in the Waitakere District Court yesterday accused of possessing methamphetamine (also known as P) for supply and having drug utensils and cannabis in her possession.
Her lawyer, Maria Pecotic, said she had a very sick relative whose health could be severely affected should her name appear in media associated with the charges.
She and a man were arrested after police raided a house on Friday. The pair were remanded on bail until next month.
