The manufacturer of Ribena has been taken to court after the Commerce Commission alleged it misled the public about the product's vitamin C content.
More than 80 charges have been filed against GlaxoSmithKline in the Auckland District Court for allegedly making misleading representations about Ribena between March 2002 and March 2006.
No plea was entered yesterday and GlaxoSmithKline will reappear on January 15.
