Rhea Mae Sumalpong, 25, from the Philippines, sent a desperate plea for help to her mother in Australia as she was trapped in rubble in the CTV building after the February 22 earthquake.
"Ma, we're trapped at CTV building. We need help, please rescue us," she wrote half an hour after the earthquake.
Rhea, a nurse, had been studying English at the King's Education language school on the third floor.
Rhea was the eldest of two daughters of Mario Ruel and Marlene Sumalpong who are both based in Australia.
