The Farriers restaurant in Masterton is pedalling to the cycling trend in Wairarapa with the placement of bike racks outside.
Allan Pollard, chief executive of Trust House, which owns The Farriers, and a keen club cyclist himself, wants to see more people on their bikes.
"Installing our bike racks is
in keeping with Wairarapa's aim of being bike friendly.
"The stands are clearly visible from the courtyard, so hopefully it will attract more people on to their bikes and get them cycling into town, with the promise of somewhere safe to leave their bike while they shop and get a bite to eat," he said.
"It would also be great to see people cycling to work, using the bike stands and walking to the CBD.
