A Dunedin school mired in accusations of mistreating students is already making inroads into dealing with the alleged culprits.
Sara Cohen School, for special needs children, is under investigation after a number of complaints earlier this year.
Education Minister Hekia Parata says she became aware of the issue earlier in the year.
She says significant steps have been taken to address the problem.
Parata says there are particular individuals involved one of whom resigned immediately, while another is being dealt with through the employment process.
