There has been a report of a crash involving a car and a motorbike in Murupara.
A police spokeswoman said St John Ambulance notified police about 10am.
She said there was one person reported injured and they had been taken by ambulance to Rotorua Hospital.
She said it was possible the person had a broken leg, she said.
A Lakes District Health Board media spokeswoman said one person was treated in the Emergency Department and discharged in the afternoon.
