KEY POINTS:
An urgent report into the plane hijacking in Christchurch has been received by Police and Transport Minister Annette King.
The report, completed by Aviation security, the Civil Aviation Authority and police, is being prepared as a Cabinet document and will be tabled later this week.
A spokesman for Ms King said the report would be made public next week.
Blenheim woman Asha Ali Abdille allegedly stabbed two pilots and tried to hijack a small plane travelling from Blenheim to Christchurch on February 8.
