Repeat performance meets fans' pleas

Musicians Marlon Williams and Delaney Davidson will return to Masterton thanks to popular demand.

The pair performed as part of the concert A Night at the Museum at Aratoi earlier this year. And Mark Rogers, of organisers Up With People, said the show had gone "down a storm".

He said audience members had posted pleas on Facebook to bring the pair back.

"Their last concert in August was a huge hit and Katie Grantham and I have been inundated with requests to get them back, so we are delighted that they'll be here."

The pair will be promoting their new album Sad But True, a collection of covers and originals.

"More than anything they just put on a fantastic show," he said.

"It's going to be a cool night."

Mr Rogers was also continuing work on other projects, including a summer festival.

"In the meantime we're just in the process of putting together the bill for our own outdoor festival at a local vineyard in 2013 that'll be called Small Day Out," he said.

"We're in the middle of negotiations with potential headliners at the moment and once these are complete we'll announce the full line-up in the next few months."

The Marlon Williams and Delaney Davidson show will be held at Aratoi on December 2 from 7pm. Tickets are $25 and available from Aratoi or www.dashtickets.co.nz
