A man accused of holding three hostages at gunpoint in a three-hour drama has been remanded to the Mason Clinic for treatment before his next court appearance in October.
Bruno Andrea Perillo, 35, made his third appearance in Auckland District Court yesterday on charges of kidnapping, reckless driving, failing to stop, and unlawfully taking a motor vehicle on July 10.
He allegedly held three workers hostage at a panelbeating workshop in New Lynn.
