A woman charged over an alleged baby-snatching incident at St George's Hospital in Christchurch has been remanded to a pre-depositions conference next month after the court received a psychiatric report on her fitness to plead.
The 20-year-old's name remains suppressed after her brief appearance before Judge Michael Crosbie in Christchurch District Court yesterday.
The woman is charged with depriving a mother of her 2-day old baby on December 3.
