RELIEF HOUSE PARENTS
"Supporting Families Caring for Children"
We are looking for a couple to provide relief cover in our family based, Christian home in Hawke's Bay. The home provides care for children and young people who have autism and/or intellectual disabilities.
The ideal couple will:
- Have a passion to support the family/whanau by helping to create a 'home away from home' environment for children / young people
- Have strong empathy with the organisation's christian and bi cultural values
- Enjoy a sense of fun
- Be excellent at quickly establishing confidence, rapport and routine with the children/young people that stay at the home
- Be able to fit in with family life at the home
- Be available to stay at our home for approximately 4-6 nights per month including some weekends and school holidays
- Have NZ residency and a full drivers licence
- your time will be generously reimbursed
