Bank of New Zealand has set up a trust account in conjunction with the Manawatu District Council to raise money for the mayoral relief fund. Donations, to the Feilding and District Relief Trust Account, number 0628-0016075-00, can be made at any BNZ branch, at the Manawatu District Council in Manchester St, Feilding, or at Feilding's information centre.

Donations can be made through The Salvation Army's toll-free number 0800-53-00-00, via the Army's website, or by post to PO Box 27001, Wellington.

The Holmes television programme flood appeal has closed, having raised $2,026,000.
