Wairarapa College striker Felicity Reidy was a star performer for the Capital under-21 women's hockey side when they played a two-match series against Australia Country in Wellington last week.
Reidy, 17, scored both goals when Capital won the second game 2-0 and also featured prominently in the first, which ended 1-1.
A reserve for New Zealand's Youth Olympic squad last year, Reidy will be joined by a number of past and present Wairarapa players when she represents Capital at the national under-21 tourney in Dunedin, starting on May 7.
Also in that side will be her Wairarapa College teammate Katherine Van Woerkom and Jenna Anderson of St Matthew's, plus ex-Wairarapa players Amanda Pottinger, Holly Gaskin, Tara Hall and Emma Warren.
