Players who breach the offside line at ruck or maul time can expect no sympathy from Wairarapa-Bush rugby referees.
WBRRA spokesman Peter Debney said players needed to be constantly aware that unless they were bound into a ruck or maul the offside line was the hindmost foot of the last player on their side.
"We are starting to see infringing players creeping around the far side of the ruck or maul to where the referee is positioned, and referees will need to penalise to nip it in the bud," Debney said.
