Red Star duo Greg Todd and Jared Watt grabbed the limelight when the Wairarapa Cricket Association confirmed their trophy winners for the 2011-12 season.
Central Stags all-rounder Todd was awarded the Dermot Payton Cup for the top batting average in senior club play while Watt secured the D.K.Logan Cup for heading the bowling averages.
The Spirit of Cricket Trophy went to Wairarapa College skipper Andrew Williams and three different sides shared the team trophies.
Red Star won the Bidwell Cup championship, Flight Centre Lansdowne the Umpire's Cup one-day competition and Greytown the More FM Cup Twenty20 competition, the Bidwell Challenge Cup and the Thursday Cup for best and fairest team.
