Two men are facing charges over the murder 30 years ago of Maramarua publican Chris Bush.
Counties Manukau Detective Inspector Gary Lendrum said a 57-year-old man was arrested in Tauranga yesterday and charged with murder and aggravated robbery.
A 58-year-old man was charged today in Auckland with murder and aggravated robbery.
The Tauranga man was due to appear in the Manukau District Court today. The second man facing charges around the historic murder would appear in the same court some time next week.
Lendrum said the breakthrough came after members of the community came forward with invaluable information following a renewed focus on the unsolved murder.
