Cold southerlies have brought record snowfalls to Queenstown's Coronet Peak.
So far, more than 3 metres has been dumped on the mountain this season, beating the previous record set in 2010.
It's making for great spring skiing conditions, NZSki chief Paul Anderson says, with soft powdery conditions and wall-to-wall snow. The Remarkables are also having a great season.
