Favourite summer berry slice
Makes 12 pieces
Base:
• 150g butter, softened
• ½ cup caster sugar
• ¼ tsp almond essence
• 1½ cups flour
• ¼ cup toasted sliced almonds
Filling:
• 3 eggs
• 1 egg yolk
• ¼ cup caster sugar
• 250g sour cream
• 3 cups mixed fresh berries
• Extra berries for garnish
• Whipped cream or yoghurt for serving
1. Preheat oven to 180. Line a 28cm x 18cm tin with baking paper.
