An appeal by a real estate agent found guilty of breaching professional standards after he listed the wrong property for sale has been thrown out.
The decision relates to Ram Vinodh, of Don Ha Real Estate, over the sale of 10 Andover Way in Manukau.
In a Real Estate Agents Authority complaints assessment committee decision last year it was found he provided false information about the property's address, which led the buyer to believe he was buying the house next door.
The agreement for sale and purchase drawn up by Mr Vinodh contained the legal description for number 10 but the address of 12 Andover Way, which he had recorded incorrectly, he said.
The committee found Mr Vinodh guilty of unsatisfactory conduct and laid charges with the authority tribunal over the agents' actions - a decision he appealed against.
