Five-year-old Eva Tasila is already a seasoned Teddy Bears Picnic attendee, with four events under her belt. This year she took her pink teddy - named "Bear" - as her date. But Bear was forgotten about - if only momentarily - when Eva spotted a radio station's giant teddy at the Abe's Bagels Teddy Bears Picnic at Western Springs yesterday. Eva's mum, Amelda, said the station wanted her to pull the huge toy and she fell in love with it instantly.
Another giant bear of a different variety who also joined the charity picnic was Po, the panda from the Kung Fu Panda movies, as well as acts of the two-legged variety from The Neverland Show, the NZ International Dance School and Molly the Pirate.
