KEY POINTS:
A Mangere couple have shoes for their twins and a school jacket for their daughter today after generous Herald readers responded to an article about their plight on this page yesterday.
Lata and Kanikita Mohulamu, parents of seven children aged between 3 and 14, said they made almost $800 in weekly payments.
A reader gave the family the jacket, another is sending a $200 cheque to cover the jacket and other costs, a third offered to pay off outstanding school fees up to $300 and a fourth brought $30 in to Vaiola Pacific Island Budgeting Service, said adviser Vai Harris.
Mrs Mohulamu went out last night to spend the $30 on shoes for her boys.
