KEY POINTS:
As consummate fashion followers we're supposed to act jaded and "been there, done that" when it comes to fashion week, but I've yet to find someone in the fashion world who isn't delirious with excitement at the return of WORLD to this year's fashion week.
WORLD always put on a marvellous show and, as the resident beauty junkie, I'm particularly excited to see what they will come up with beauty-wise.
They've even called in reinforcements, with Brent Lawler, the NY-based Kiwi hair stylist who is always in hot demand from top magazines and designers.
WORLD's Francis Hooper says their beauty draws on the late 70s - early 80s era and is inspired by Siouxsie and the Banshees, the New York Dolls, early Roxy Music and Grace Jones. The palette is set to be colourful, as you'd expect from WORLD.
As Francis says: "We're so excited to be back showing so we've got a new exuberance.
"We want to show everyone something completely new, something they've never seen."
It's a tall order, but if anyone can do it, we know WORLD can.
