Rapist jailed

A 16-year-old has been jailed for three years for raping and sexually abusing a 6-year-old girl - his foster mother's grand-daughter.

The boy pleaded guilty after his arrest in January and Judge David Saunders imposed the jail term in Christchurch District Court.
