Rapist denied parole

A double rapist has been denied parole to protect a woman who wants him to live with her.

Ihaia Mack Moeau, jailed for 10 years for raping a Christchurch woman in 2003, was denied parole last month.

A woman who formed a relationship with Moeau in prison told the Parole Board she wanted him to move in with her and her 4-year-old son.
