Lea was disappointed to find the view of Auckland's harbour bridge light show blocked at Silo Park.

Went to Silo Park on Saturday night to see the sponsored lights on the harbour bridge and accompanying music (the only location to hear the music). This was ruined by the eyesore of a private vessel blocking most of the view of the bridge. Is there nowhere else this thing can be moored while the lights event is on?

We have just had a wonderful boat tour around Auckland harbour with a well-informed, one-hour commentary to see the Queen Mary up close, and all the other ports surrounding Auckland, and I have to say that we and all the people I spoke to had a brilliant time. Thank you, 360 Discovery Cruises and Ports of Auckland, for a very enjoyable time, and to cap it all it was free.

Could drivers who drive with their lights on during the day have the courtesy to make sure they aren't on high beam.

Many, many heartfelt thanks to the person who returned my wallet to reception at Auckland Central Library with all cash and cards still inside on Thursday. After much panic (and a few prayers), to discover it had been handed in restored my belief that there are still good and honest people out there. May God bless you for your honesty and integrity.

As our cricket team heads to the serious end of the ICC Cricket World Cup, surely it can be called New Zealand and not always referred to as "the Black Caps". Do we call Australia "The Baggy Greens"? No! How on earth do foreign countries know what country this team is from? Hopefully the foreign media call us New Zealand. In rugby, most teams are known by their other name, but not in cricket.

New Zealand is such a beautiful country. My husband Robert and I arrived in April 2014 and we are living in a beautiful, inexpensive place named Kawerau. We are pensioners, and have met so many wonderful, friendly people. After leaving South Africa, we really cannot and will not complain about anything NZ has to offer. Perhaps it is because of where we come from that we appreciate the beauty of our surroundings, the infrastructure works, the roads are clean and clearly marked. And we are safe. An unbelievable and wonderful place to live. People must look around them and absorb the wonder of New Zealand.
