Rant
I was utterly flabbergasted this morning to come out and find that some low life had taken two large and very heavy flowering petunia bags as well as two potted nikau palms from outside our small roadside stall in Drury Hills Rd. Why has it come to the point where everything has to be either bolted down or barricaded to ensure it isn't taken? How very, very sad.

Young man (disabled) and I (middle-aged) were sprinting for the train at Takanini Station early this morning. I managed to get on first. A huge thank you to Ruth (train manager) who held the doors open for 30 seconds to enable him to get on.
