As a long time user of Cornwall Park it irritates me no end, witnessing the disregard of some minority drivers who treat the park like a racetrack and express indignation at those of us who walk on the roadway because the camber suits our injuries or disabilities. To the young woman in the Honda who sailed down from the summit through a stop sign and nearly wiped me out while she had one hand on the steering wheel and the other talking on her cellphone, shame on you! It could have easily been the woman behind me walking her pram who wouldn't have had time to jump out of the way.

I just want to say that the staff at Countdown Auckland Airport are the most helpful and pleasant supermarket staff I have ever encountered. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always smiling and friendly. I always do my shopping there and always will. Thank you Countdown Auckland Airport.

Why do some real estate photographers take images that stretch the rooms, making them (and the furniture) look huge? Yes, we were all sucked in to begin with, thinking we were going to view a spacious house only to find a pokey little place. Now we know - so stop doing it - annoying!

Many thanks to the two young men who helped an elderly gentleman look for his Gold Card in a rubbish bin at the Green Bay shops, outside the bakery. The man had inadvertently dropped his card in with other rubbish the day before. The two guys had to reach in and rummage around in the bin full of scraps and other nasties. Unfortunately, the bin had been emptied overnight so it wasn't there. Great job guys and thanks.

Rant
Some people don't realise how much damage words and actions can do to people. It won't affect them for a short period of time - it will affect them for the rest of their lives, especially making important decisions in regards to committing suicide. There is no gain in bullying someone. Do they bully so they can be popular or to get attention? Because all it does is destroy a person's confidence, choices and life. People need to get a grip and think about what they are doing.
