I am thinking of going into the robbery business. It would seem that all I need is a beanie, a mask and a note demanding cash. I would like to think bank staff undergo training on how to handle these situations. Without question, if a robber is armed, then staff safety is paramount. However, claiming to have a weapon does not constitute an immediate threat. A proper response to "Show me the money" should be, "Show me the gun". I would argue that a knife does not present a threat to a teller behind a screen and counter. Banks need to be more defensive.

Grateful thanks to Tim at Dick Smith Electronics in Takapuna for helping us out when we were having difficulty accessing the internet on our laptop. Although our computer is no longer under warranty, he willingly provided great customer service and advice.

I was really disappointed to find a supermarket trolley rolling around in my driveway when I was heading out to work for the day. The person was obviously too lazy to put the trolley where it belonged. How hard is it? It ended up scratching my car, so it's going to cost me about $200.
