To the horrible lady who left her little dog in her car on Saturday morning at Browns Bay - you should be ashamed! It was barking non-stop for 25mins in a hot car with only one small window open and no water in 94 per cent humidity while you were doing your shopping. Then to give me the bird as you drove off - well, that was classy!

I would like to say what great staff there are at the Langham Hotel in Auckland. Darren Thurlow, hotel manager, is a genuine all-round nice guy. I had a very hectic morning, and with horrendous traffic and the extra people in central Auckland for the climate change march I finally arrived at the hotel, only to find the carpark was full. Mr Thurlow sorted out a park and I ended up having a great day. Above and beyond. Thanks again.

To the driver of the green ute in Albany village who decided to turn around, pull over where we had stopped and threaten us for running a red light, which we hadn't, I suggest you get your facts right and consider if this was really appropriate behaviour, given that you are not the police. If a mistake had been made on our part, there would still have been no need for what you did.

To the lads at Hirepool, Grey Lynn, you are the best. I went in asking for a rotary hoe that I could lift myself and caused them some hilarity. They suggested an alternative with an offer to deliver the cultivator and roller to my house. You lads enjoy your work and this shows with your amazing customer service. Thanks heaps.
