We are such cordial people when driving. Always ready to give way to people, wait for pedestrians, slow down near schools. That is, until we get on a highway and see a passing lane. Even the most considerate driver tends to do 20km/h over their normal speed as soon as they come to a passing lane. What makes it even more annoying is that they slow down immediately after! Go figure.

The diversity of Auckland - sights, cuisine, and beaches, all within 5 minutes drive or a walk across the road. The Kiwi lifestyle can be enjoyed here, fishing, hunting, music, theatre, sports and culture. Just got to sort the traffic, bro.

The first 1km of Muriwai Rd is a built-up area therefore is posted 50km/h. Why do trucks, school buses, 4WDs, cars and motorbikes flaunt the speed limit, causing so much road noise for people living adjacent to the road? There is almost 100 per cent non-compliance to the posted speed limits.

To the man in the grey jersey, who dined for lunch at Mozaik, Silverdale on Saturday, September 27: As you may have seen, our duty crew had just got stuck into our yummy brunch when we were paged for an urgent medical assist. We were away quite a while (a second medical assist) but made our way back to Mozaik as quickly as we could. Upon our return to the cafe to pay for our meals, the man behind the counter smiled and started to tell us about how you (mystery man in the grey jersey) had settled our entire bill! All $109 of our (half-uneaten) food and coffees. From the Silverdale Volunteer Fire Brigade's blue watch crew, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
