The thought of a child stepping on the broken bottle, sharp end up, that you left in the long grass sends a shiver down my spine. Shame on you.

I'm so disappointed in the people that visited beautiful Kaitarakihi Bay just before Huia. They obviously had a great time - two bottles of Bernadino and some Billy Maverick 7%ers. The thought of a child stepping on the broken bottle, sharp end up, that you left in the longgrass sends a shiver down my spine. Shame on you.

Recently I dropped my wallet in a supermarket carpark. I was surprised when I got home to find a message from my bank to say someone had found it and would take it to a branch of my bank. I went to the bank and picked up my wallet. I was given the phone number of the person who found my wallet and have on numerous times tried to call and say thanks, but the number was incorrect. So I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Brendan.
I can save Mr Key all those millions he's talking of spending on the flag referendum. One simple design represents New Zealand's present interests, values and aspirations - a black flag with a large dollar sign, picked out in silver.
Many kudos to the great staff at North Shore Hospital, especially the wonderful emergency department. I had to go in recently for an urgent CT scan and was blown away by the professionalism, friendliness and respect shown by staff at all levels.

As a former employee of Air NZ for 29 years, every time I see an image of its new 787s I cringe at the livery. Clearly the company has black on the brain as it has tried to signify that black is all about New Zealand. When it comes to rugby, yes. But Boeing's latest creation looks sinister in black and the dominance of its livery is stark and makes the aircraft look smaller. In my view, it is a shocking blunder.

Great service from Ernie at Newmarket train station, who went out of his way to help me get my new suit back, after I left it on the train. He contacted the train manager, told him where to find it, and even contacted me on the train's return journey to advise I could collect it in about five minutes.
