Rams teams were on fire when matches in the Wairarapa-Bush JAB rugby competition continued last Saturday.
In all, Rams had 10 teams take the field and eight of them recorded wins.
A highlight was the victory of the Rams White team in the under-13s grade. It was their first of the season and will lift their spirits after a bad run of injuries.
Their 34-5 success over Martinborough came through a solid effort by backs and forwards. Flanker Mickey Ward was later named Rams player of the week. He scored two tries and shone in earning turnovers.
Also in the under-13s, Rams Black beat a much improved Greytown unit in a game in which a remarkable 114 points were posted.
