Auckland rail passengers will be entitled to buy monthly tickets for January at old prices, despite being told otherwise by some train staff.
Bus passengers also face rises on January 14, of an average 7.8 per cent, but will be able to buy "rolling" monthly tickets at old prices until the day before that.
