Raglan police find body of missing man

A body has been found by police searching for a man missing since Monday near Raglan on the Waikato coast 46km west of Hamilton.

Jason Waterman, 42, was last seen in Raglan on Monday afternoon and his car was found in the Te Toto gorge.

Police confirmed today a body had been found in the area where they were searching but said it had not yet been identified as that of Mr Waterman.

No other details were available.

Police and search and rescue staff searched the gorge yesterday and a surf club boat combed the coastline.
