Radiographers walked off the job fora third time today, ahead of negotiations planned for next week.
A spokesman for the District Health Boards said last night both parties had agreed to meet for negotiations on Monday and Tuesday next week.
Radiographers at six DHBs are striking over lack of pay parity with their counterparts at other DHBs.
Deborah Powell, secretary of the radiographers' union, Apex, said they had been frustrated by the DHBs refusal to meet the unions for any negotiations.
DHB spokesman Dwayne Crombie said they would not negotiate during strike action.
As part of the industrial action, the radiographers agreed to come back to work for emergency procedures.
