The man charged with murdering Wellington journalist Phil Cottrell will spend another six weeks in custody after a report found an issue with his proposed bail address.
Nicho Waipuka, 19, is jointly charged with murdering the Radio New Zealand bulletin editor in central Wellington last December.
Defence lawyer Paul Paino told a Wellington District Court judge today that a bail assessor had identified a problem with the proposed bail address relating to the use of electronic monitoring equipment.
Mr Paino said an alternative bail address was being sought.
Judge Denys Barry further remanded Waipuka in custody until March 28.
